Welcome to the build and running history of my Fraser Clubman SP330. SP designation as it was a special projects machine by Fraser Cars. Let’s just cut to the chase ~370hp at the crank, 600kg, very sticky tyres and huge brakes. Got your attention? thought it might.
A Fraser is a New Zealand made modern interpretation of a Lotus 7. Old school cool with mostly new components. In my case we went a little crazy and had a Rotrex C30-94 Supercharged, Intercooled, Honda 2L iVTEC engine (proper K20A JDM 11.5:1) mated to a 5spd manual gearbox driving through to a LSD at the rear. Pushrod inboard wide track front suspension. De-dion rear end. LINK Engine Management, AIM MXL Digital Dash, with Racelogic TCS not quite finished. A Pace GT Dry Sump system and steady diet of Motul 300V has thus far kept it from spitting out bearings. Big Wilwood brakes on the front with Ferodo DS2500 pads to arrest it. Super sticky Dunlop DZ03G’s to make sure it stays shiny side up. Finished with an incredible Leather/Alcantara cockpit and Grigio Telesto paint scheme. Safety by way of a removable full roll cage for the track day season, 5point harnesses and a serious amount of restraint.
