So the packing blew out of the old silencer, very handy. It’s progressively gotten louder to the point of being obnoxious/painful to drive. We replaced it with an Andrenalin-R jobbie that was a bit longer and more stoutly put together along with quite a different internal design. The results were dramatic – loosing 12dB at 4500rpm static test. Much smoother lower growly sound than the raspy ear piercing cracks of the exhaust notes. I could actually drive it home without ear plugs, and didn’t have a ringing ear by the time I got home…
